Politics, Chicago Style
As of 4:00 am, the winner of the Democrat primary for Governor in Illinois is yet to be decided, with Governor Quinn in a dead heat with Comptroller Dan Hynes. In good news, Tony Rezko banker Alex Giannoulias has taken the Senate nomination in the Democrat primary - increasing the chances of a GOP pick-up. Apparently still undecided is the Republican nomination for Governor, with Bill Brady in a slight lead over Kirk Dillard. Unfortunately, Rush-endorsed Adam Andrzejewski appears to be coming in a distant fifth. Mark Kirk gets the GOP nod for Senate. Illinois is not the home of many tea partiers it seems.
