Baucus: A Time For Cleansing (UPDATED)

Two different stories about Senator Max Baucus (D- Montana) in the past two days indicate that he's had some sort of revelation and now wants to "come clean."

First up: yes, Reid's healthcare "reform" boondoggle really will cost $2.5 trillon, two-and-a-half times more than Reid will admit.

And now: it's clear that Baucus nominated his girlfriend for a US Attorney position.  More here.

I guess when all else fails, the truth can be a pretty good strategy.
